Complete Production Process
The tortilla production line follows a series of optimized steps to ensure consistency, efficiency, and high-quality results:
Dough Kneading – Flour, water, and other ingredients are mixed in an industrial dough mixer, ensuring proper hydration and gluten development.
Dough Portioning – The mixed dough is transferred to a feeding hopper, where it is portioned into medium-sized pieces.
Dividing & Rounding – The dough portions are further divided into smaller, precisely weighed dough balls using an automatic dividing and rounding machine.
Intermediate Proofing – The dough balls rest in an intermediate proofing chamber for 10–15 minutes to enhance texture and elasticity.
Hot Pressing & Baking – The proofed dough balls move along a conveyor belt to the hot pressing unit, where they are flattened and shaped into tortillas. They are then baked at controlled temperatures to achieve the desired flexibility, texture, and golden-brown color.
Cooling – After baking, the tortillas travel along a cooling conveyor to stabilize their structure before packaging.
Stacking & Counting – The tortillas are automatically stacked in groups of 6 or 10, depending on production settings.
Packaging – The stacked tortillas are fed into the packaging machine, which supports flow wrap or zipper bag packaging. Custom packaging solutions are available based on customer needs.

This production line can produce tortillas in multiple diameters, including 15cm, 18cm, 20cm, 22cm, 25cm, 30cm, and 33cm. Dough weight and pressing thickness can be adjusted to meet different market requirements.
